We had three girls out stalking today, for one of whom it was their first stalk. Three shots, three stags, job done. I am required to point out that they have multiple layers of clothing on, and spent most of the day in a wet bog.

Very cheerful group of sporting girls!
What’s the average larder weight of your stags now? With the good grazing and wonderful winter shelter it should be impressive. Had a fortnight stalikng in Perthshire in September. It rained every day bar two!
