I let the pigs out of their pen this morning. They had escaped twice and returned both times so it seems that it is time to make it official and to help that food and warm bed will be enough to lure them back to their pen each evening.
Anyway they were delighted to be let out and rushed out to run around with their noses pressed to the ground. They’ve grown a lot already since they arrived at Croick and I suspect they are going to start growing quicker still now.
They are still officially enclosed, but the enclosure is several hundred acres of trees and heather, so if they want to hide they have plenty of scope. I’ll let you know how we get on.
