The first calf of 2015 has been born, pleasingly without incident. The mother is more than a little protective of her new heifer but will calm down in time. Both are in a pen at the moment but assuming all goes well will be out on the hill shortly.

There are at least 6 cows looking ready to burst at the moment so hopefully more calves will be on the way in the next few days.
