A beautiful day

20150418-Croick-24-Edit

Unless you were fishing, the weather could not have been better than it was today. We woke to clear skies and a sharp frost. It quickly warmed and has been roasting most of the day; temperature well into the 20s. You couldn’t ask for better weather for lambing.

Do you know of anyone who has the past history of Croick.? My great grandmother was one of the children in the Churchyard, her father was John Ross married to a lady whose second name was Aird. My grandmother was called Christina and married Hugh Maclean, lived in Fasnakyle and then in Achnagart Glenshiel died in 1927. Buried in Tomnacross Cemetry Kiltarlity. Thank you.

I’m afraid I cannot be sure who the best person to contact might be. You might try the Minister who can be contacted through the Croick Church website.
