The weather for the last two days has been unseasonably shocking, with high winds and heavy rain most of the time. But even bad weather has a silver lining. The river was high and it seemed certain that fish would be running. And so it transpired. This nice little grilse was caught, and safely released, by Neil Sutherland. He took the picture too. I hope he was pleased, because it certainly made my day!
