It’s been a poor year fishing at Croick, as with just about anywhere in the UK. The water has come now but salmon are still scarce. However one of our guests made up for it with this lovely trout caught in a pool where salmon are normally plentiful.

Alan, thanks for your messages and sorry for the slow response. I will confess to worrying about the future for Croick church and I certainly hope that the new Minister, when appointed, will engage him/herself in thinking about its future. It is a tourist attraction which attracts considerable interest, but in danger of becoming redundant as a place of worship. What is the best future for it?
