What may seem unassuming from the outside manages to both surprise and delight on entry when the homely open plan living accommodation receives guests with open arms. The wood-burning stove at the heart of the room keeps it nice and cosy with comfy seating set up in front of it for toe toasting and the neat kitchen area just alongside. Three steps then lead up from the living area to the very welcoming double bedroom area.

For a compact little hideaway the bathroom facilities are excellent as the large, colourful shower room has a walk-in shower and laundry facilities that are neatly tucked away.

Outside the rough garden surrounding the hall is fenced off with the countryside leading off into the hill behind. Red squirrels can often be seen scampering in the surrounding trees and they are fascinating to watch in action as they climb with such great ease.

As the estate is so extensive there is plenty to explore amongst the rolling, heather clad hills and forests that seem to go on for miles. There is also fishing available with a catch and release system in place.
